Boosting Effects of Exercises –
Exercise involves engaging in physical activity and increasing the heart rate beyond rest levels. It is an important part of preserving physical and mental health.
Whether people engage in light exercise, such as a walk or high-intensity activities, such as uphill biking or weight training, regular exercise offers a wide range of benefits for the body and mind.
Taking part in exercises of all intensity every day is essential to prevent a series of illnesses and other health problems.
Three different types of exercise can be undertaken: aerobic, anaerobic and agility training.
Most aerobic exercise takes place at medium intensity levels over longer periods.
An aerobic exercise session involves warming up, exercising for at least 20 minutes, and then cooling down. Aerobic exercise mainly uses large muscle groups.
Benefits of Aerobic Exercises –
Aerobic exercise offers multiple benefits such as: improving muscle strength in the lungs, heart and whole body while lowering blood pressure. It not only increases blood circulation in the muscles while increasing the number of red blood cells in the body, which is important for improving oxygen transport. These exercises have reduced the risk of various illnesses such as diabetes, stroke, and cardiovascular disease.
In high intensity aerobic exercise, this results in increased bone growth and a reduced risk of osteoporosis.
They also help the body improve endurance by increasing the body’s ability to store energy molecules like fats and carbohydrates in muscles.
Anaerobic exercise –
These types of exercises are performed by people to develop power, strength and muscle mass. They break down glucose into energy without using oxygen, these are high intensity activities that usually last no more than 2 minutes at a time. Various types of anaerobic exercise are used by people, including weight lifting, sprinting, fast jumping with a rope, etc. These exercises are more difficult but for a shorter duration. Anaerobic exercise is particularly useful for weight management, as it helps burn more calories, even in a resting body. Anaerobic exercise can also help build endurance and fitness levels
