How to take care of Acne
Convertor Acne or acne vulgaris is a common skin condition that causes pimples. It can be mild to severe and affect the skin of the face, back, shoulders and chest.
Acne is not contagious, so you can not catch it or pass it on to other people.
You can get a kind of spot or a mix of different types. The severity varies from person to person.
Take care if you have acne-
1.Do not try to pinch or pinch your skin. This can aggravate acne and lead to scarring.
2.Acne is not caused by poor hygiene. Excessive washing or brushing therefore does not improve it – in fact, it can make acne worse. Wash dirt-prone areas as usual with mild soap or neutral detergent and lukewarm water. You do not need to wash your skin more than twice a day.
3.Be patient with the treatment you follow. It can take four to eight weeks to get better and several months to get a significant improvement.
It is best if your skin does not have make-up, but it is understandable that you will feel more confident and less self-confident when applying make-up. In this case, choose water-based and oil-free make-up products.
4.If your skin is dry (some acne creams can cause dry skin), you can use a water-based moisturizer without fragrance. Do not use ointments or oil-based products as they can clog your pores.
5.If you are a man and need to shave your face, choose moisturizing shaving products. Shave yourself in hair growth direction.
Over-the-counter products containing benzoyl peroxide (eg PanOxyl) may be helpful. These treatments are antibacterial and therefore reduce the amount of bacteria Propionibacterium acnes (P. acnes) on your skin.
For some people, acne is very painful. If you feel weak or anxious about your acne, talk to your doctor. You do not have to feel that way and your doctor may be able to help you.
